The money, why not? Had Sanders character being a little more raunchy with those young guys I'd be dying of laughter as well, just the dinner with some cute distant moments isn't enough but Funny or Die made something special, and Goodman always delivers. So grab some fried chicken and settle in for a wild ride with one of the funniest shows on television!
.
But in reality, I'm a little torn because it's a fashionable thing to appeal to wider audiences and get plenty of money back - I can only accept similar endorsements when the company shows that they are inclusive in their working locations as well - behind the scenes and the ones destined to public. But it works as way to see how the opposite turns out to be, like when hater Anita Bryant managed to get a boycott on the orange juice she promoted in the 1970's because of her anti-gay crusade.
In the skit, Goodman plays the head of a boot camp-style program that aims to teach LGBTQ+ individuals how to behave "straight." The skit is both funny and poignant, and it highlights just how damaging these types of programs can be.
Other skits in this episode include a hilarious take on the classic game show "Password," in which the contestants are unable to guess the secret word due to their own sexual desires getting in the way, as well as a blooper reel featuring some of the funniest moments from previous episodes.
Overall, season 7 episode 10 of Funny Or Die Original Sketches is a must-watch for anyone who loves irreverent humor and wants to see John Goodman at his comedic best.
But Goodman/Sanders uses more than just that, he provides details and comparisons that are really accurate in a business sense. It's a trend for quite some time, almost any major company does these days and I'm a little torn apart with such declaration of principles - not the one shown in the skit since Colonel says exactly how far he can go with such support ("I might even be gay!") or even bashing other companies that aren't so liberal.
The video humorously paints KFC as the pro-gay alternative to anti-gay restaurant Chick-fil-A, suggesting that the Colonel himself is gay.
Our old pal, Colonel Sanders is back with a message for Chick-Fil-A and chicken lovers that is totally honest and not at all panderous.
