The "Gen Z Stare: conveys a sense of unimpressed cynicism, sometimes described as a sardonic or aloof disgust.

--Camp: Aesthetic style and sensibility that regards something as appealing because of its bad taste and ironic value.

"Woke" has gained popularity as a slang term.  Synonyms for "woke" might include intelligent, smart, insightful, bright, thoughtful, astute, informed, knowledegable, enlightened, wise, aware, reasonable, literate, intuitive, educated, open-minded.

"Woke" is similar to such expressions as "Wake Up Call."  It is somewhat similar to "With it," "Right on," and "Cool" but with a focus on social justice.

--Masc: Shorthand for “masculine.” Term used in online chats and personal ads when exchanging one's physical statistics.

--Beefcake: Attractive, masculine gay man with well-developed muscles. Not wanting to be "cringe" is additionally a common theme

Millennial Pause

The "Millennial Pause" is a hesitation at the start of a video or after an editing splice.

It typically appears in a social situation where a verbal response might be expected. Used with affection or familiarity by another gay man.

--Friend of Dorothy (FOD): Gay man. Derogatory term.

 

--Twink: Attractive, boyish-looking gay young man. It is sometimes compared to a deadpan look of disgust or a reaction to a world that doesn't meet expectations.
