Serving classic pub fare and craft beer, T’s might seem no different from other cheerful, unpretentious pubs in the area—but don’t be fooled.
You can sip on cocktails or grab a beer without worrying about your wallet, so you’re free to focus on having a great time. You can check their website for upcoming events and their details.
2. You can pay at the door or pre-book a ticket online in advance.
Solo men are NOT permitted at Oasis on Fridays and Saturdays, as those days are reserved for women and their partners.

Solo men, like all Oasis guests, must follow the rules at all times.
They put on two electrifying shows per night that get bolder, sassier, and more entertaining as the night goes on.
Sunday nights are special at The Lookout, with booze flowing at more affordable prices, making it easier to keep the party going. Another option is to join a social network where like-minded individuals hang out.
Beyond the themed events, the vibes are casual and chill, perfect for making new friends or catching up with old ones.
Pro Tip:
T’s Pub has plenty of patio space at the front and back of the establishment, where you can dine al fresco in the summer. While there are a myriad of options in Ottawa to dance the night away, I think not many can top the experience at gay clubs.
There’s never a dull moment—even on a Wednesday night.
Pro Tip:
Swizzles usually has no cover charges, but there might be exceptions to this, particularly during special performances. Check out the rules video on our FAQ page to know the rules in advance.
Solo Men are restricted during some of the events from visiting the third-floor playrooms unless invited by a woman.
June is also a good pick for summer weather and Pride month energy, while February works only if you want skating and festival crowds. Any given day, you'll find what you're looking for: boys, girls and everything in between — everyone is welcome at Swizzles,* and you can always hop on the always turned on, always available, always free WI-FI.
*as long as you're not a douche ;)

Ottawa makes an easy, low-stress LGBTQ+ city break.
At night, it turns into one of the best gay clubs in Ottawa.
It might not be the wildest of clubs, but it’s a perfect destination if you’re looking to have an uninhibited good time. You get walkable neighbourhoods, solid museums, and good food without big-city hassle. Plus, it’s karaoke time from 8 PM to 11 PM, where you can grab the mic and belt out your favorite tunes.
With patrons belting out to karaoke favorites, and an enthusiastic crowd ready to cheer them on, it’s no surprise that the club was voted as Ottawa’s best karaoke spot.
Pro Tip:
During the summer months, The Lookout opens the balcony to the public, so you can enjoy the cool night breeze and the stunning views of the Byward Market while listening to live music.
3.
If you want a quiet queer-friendly stay outside downtown, Motel Chelsea makes a great Gatineau-side base. Some women enjoy playing in front of other men, while others prefer to play with only women or other couples nearby. LIVE! Even on those days where third-floor restrictions are in place, Oasis offers spaces all guests, including solo men, can access and enjoy (the ballroom, dungeon, the pool, and outdoor patio, the lower bar and spa area, the smoking area, etc.).
It is not the behaviour of the men that the women are concerned about; Oasis works hard to ensure all guests are respectful, but it is that having the single men nearby changes the atmosphere, and some women enjoy that atmosphere while playing, while others do not.
You can easily strike up a conversation, meet someone new, or just let loose.
Plus, there’s always something fun happening here.
If you’re in the mood for some drag magic, make sure to swing by on a Friday or Saturday night.
